Rockway Provides State of Art Communications Shelters

Rockway Precast just finished a project with Electricraft Inc providing five communication shelter buildings for Fort Hunter Liggett Army Base. To meet the base requirements Electricraft and Rockway needed a shelter structure that would be quickly manufactured, fire resistant, and cost effective. All these requirements were a perfect fit for Rockway to produce with our Easi-Set buildings.

Rockway upon receiving the PO to move forward with the job was able to produce and deliver one of the custom shelter buildings in 21 working days. Rockway used a 5000 PSI mix to achieve great strength in all panels.  Each building had an exterior exposed aggregate finish. All the buildings had tile floor with an FRP interior and were loaded with 5 ton single AC units. All of the buildings had post-tensioned floors and roofs which make them 40% stronger for impact and give them a water tight seal.

Overall, the customer was extremely pleased that all their requirements and they stayed within their budget. Rockway is looking to continue to team up with customers, like Electricraft,   throughout the West Coast to provide quality Easi-Set and Easi-Span buildings.
